World's First Floating Sculpture Park Project Featured in the Inaugural Issue of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts' Academic Journal

March 10, 2025 – The Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) officially launched Lalitkala Pragya, a peer-reviewed journal, 

at a grand event at the Nepal Fine Arts Academy, Naxal, Kathmandu. The inaugural issue (January 2025, Volume 1,

 Issue 1) features a diverse collection of scholarly articles, including a unique piece on the Hulan International 

Sculpture Symposium 2023 and the world’s first Floating Sculpture Park in China.

Among the highlights is the article Anchoring Creativity: The Birth of the World’s First Floating Sculpture Park 

(pages 80–101), which explores this groundbreaking initiative in contemporary sculpture. 


The launch event brought together esteemed academicians, artists, scholars, media representatives, and art 

enthusiasts, making it a vibrant intellectual gathering. 


Adding to the occasion, the Bagmati Provincial Art Exhibition was also inaugurated, further enriching the 

event'scultural significance.
