ISSA India\ Sculpture Symposium on the University Campus

10th Gwalior ITM University sculptors Symposium as well as ISSA India was organized by ITM University Gwalior 

from 25 November to 30 December 2024 in Gwalior, a city in India. 

12 International sculptors participated in this Symposium They are Songul Telek from Turkey, Chris Peterson 

from Netherlands, Lorena Olivares and Juhan Luis Dorr from Chile, Yasushi Hori from Japan and Bhupesh Kavadia,

 Pankaj Gehlot, Gopinath S, Anil Kumar, Robin David, Rajesh Devaria from India participated in the symposium. 

Stone used in this event was marble from Makrana/Bhaislan and red sandstone from Bansi Pahadpur Rajasthan 

India. To help the sculptors in the camp, 40 assistants were also invited from Makrana who assisted the sculptors 

in symposium. In addition, 4 sculptors have made sculptures in metal.

During the closing ceremony on 29 December 2025. RMT University's Gwalior ,Vice Chancellor was present and 

on this occasion, the country's renowned painter Ashok Bhomik was present in a special role. The guests and

 spectators present in the event heartily praised the statues made in the symposium.
