"Tsui-Shih Art Organization for Creative Exchange" was founded in 1999 by a group of stone art enthusiasts. Its members include stone sculpture creators and cultural and art collectors, including full-time stone sculpture art creators and amateur players. In 2009, the "Nantou County Tsui-shih Creative Arts Association" was established as a sub-organization focusing on cross-material creative production. Influenced by artist Hsu, Ching-Fu (A-Fu), the organization emphasizes creative dialogue with nature, materials and spatial observation. Due to different professional backgrounds, there are different emotions and interpretations of materials, which extends to the creation of wood, bamboo, jade, iron, pottery, lacquer, seeds, fish bones and other materials. It is hoped that through mutual learning, observation, and exchanges, we can promote sculpture creation activities with various materials and enhance the energy of artistic creation. In 2022, in order to advocate that art respects nature and ecology, the organization will hold the first "醉石藝集 - Unplugged Stone Sculpture Symposium" to gather artists to change their usual habits of using creative tools and temporarily give up unauthorized creative use. Power tools have changed the way traditional hand tools are used - hammers and chisels are returning to their roots. The creator talks to the stone from a first-person perspective, does what he wants to do, faces his inner emotions, and finds his own warmth and care. Art in action for the planet. The 2024 Sculpture Symposium has entered its third year. In order to expand artistic and cultural exchanges, three international artists from Asia were invited to participate to build a dialogue space for artistic creation. At the same time, it also takes advantage of the hardness of the stone and the artist's experience and ideas during the creative process. The concept of resilience echoes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and demonstrates the resilience of culture and art. Through this work camp, we promote artistic creation and artistic actions that promote net-zero carbon emission reduction, jointly implement the vision of creating a better life, and promote international art exchanges. The project is mainly promoted by three Taiwanese artists Hsu, Ching-Fu(A-Fu)、Chang, Chiaming、Chang,Shu-Wei, as well as executive planner Lee Ya-Hui.
